Whenever I went out with Marge we saw elephants. Once even at a night drive they made us jump up in a car as they suddenly started to trumpet.
These francolins are soo chilled they are also called “the turtles” among the birds. They don`t fly, they just walk.
You can recognize elephants by the pattern of their ears.
They walked over the road. This was quite close of our car. They are called gentle giants. But in Welgevonden they can be aggressive. I could watch them for hours.
After having a tree snack they like to walk …
