On our first morning and on the way to Makuleke Marc had bought a bushbaby in a shop at the airport while we were waiting for Anni whose flight was late. This bushbaby was there on all our tracking and trailing trainings. But Tsundzukani put it around his neck and so it belonged to Marc and T. But Marc seams to be a bushbabie whisperer.
.
His name Tsundsukani junior. He really came every day and around brunch (10 am) he showed himself outside. Marc took this picture. I once tried to take a picture but he is very shy and disappears in the hole of the tooth of Marc`s tend house.
This was when some of us went swimming and me and K. decided to make the yoga tree.
Tree squirrel (Reka), bull bull (Alex) and porcospino (me) at the Emerald guesthouse before they left for the airport this morning (20.08.). We tried to make some (English) Birding, as we are all into Birding, but there was no time left. So sad that the Ecotraining course is over. The group and the staff were very cool. Makuleke was outstanding. I miss it all and would like to stay here in beautiful Southafrica. Unfortunately my plane is tonight at 7 pm. But I still have to buy a porcospino and some rusks at the airport.
Here are some quotes of four wise man: T. , K. Dominik and Marc:
If you don`t look, you don`t see (that was the mantra for me I sometimes forgot while tracking and trailing).
The cape dove says: work harder (in the morning)
and drink lager (in the evening).
While tracking you need pazienza (patience).
African sayings:
An honest man speaks his mind and stands his ground.
An honest woman speaks her heart and shares her beauty.
To allow Life to penetrate you need silence. (This is important while tracking as you have to listen to nature and you come closer to the animals).
K. said every day to me when I made or told something funny or wasn`t able to do something (closing my right I, wisteling …):
Your are full of stories porcospino!
I will never forget Makuleke and hope to meet T. , K and Dominik again as they are awesome and beautiful people.
