Ninth day morning: tracking assessment

This morning we were quite excited because we had our tracking asessment. We had to answer 50 questions about the tracks we saw. One track could have three questions: 1. species? 2. left foot or right foot? 3. front foot or back foot?

Another pair of questions was: 1. species? 2. why do you think it is that species? We went in pairs (always two people at one track). My partner was Marc.

Reka and Marc talking in our „common room“ were we are having breakfast.

We had to write the answer of a question which was given orally by T. in our notebook. After some answers we had to show the notebook to K. who wrote the results on a sheet.

There was an elephant feeding quite  close to question number 34. My heart was beating but K. came near to me in order to protect porcospino (me).

… so cool animals!

Many elephants passing by while we were doing the tracking assessment. Incredible.

Such a huge group walking behind us. What a sighting!

Later we found a leopard track. Soo cool.

The leopard walked fast because he put the back feet on the front foot. If he registers with the front feet or puts the back feet behind the front feet, he walks very slowly.

In the car again. We finished our first tracking asessment.
